In Science we took some time to make predictions about the seeds that we planted. The students predicted that the seed which received no water would not grow much. They thought that the one with no air would look the same.They thought that one that we kept hidden in a cubby so that it didn`t get any sun would not grow. They were very clever and explained that sun helps plants to make their food, and without food you cannot grow and be healthy. As predicted, only the seed that was given sun, water, and air grew. It was a successful experiment all around! =)
We were invited to watch the Grade 5 Social Studies presentations today, so we headed upstairs after lunch and the students were a great audience as the older class talked to them about Ancient Greece.
