I was absent yesterday due to a very painful toothache. Happy to have some medicine and be back with the kids today. =)
They were very well behaved during this mornings New Year Mass. It was a lovely way to start the day.
This afternoon we practiced reading word problems in Math and choosing the right operation (addition or subtraction). We have been emphasizing showing our work through drawing and writing. They did a wonderful job and I was very impressed with them. I will be giving them a pop quiz sometime this week. =)
In Science we read about amphibians, and fish and compared them to birds, mammals, and reptiles. We started to make a chart for the classroom to show what we know.
Homework:
Spelling pages 72-73 and 78-79
Sign your spelling test and do corrections. Each word written incorrectly needs to be copies correctly 3 times.
