We had a great English Lesson this morning practicing recognizing the naming, action, and nouns in sentences. We also started to read a new story in Reading class entitled "A Big Trip!" I introduced students to Venn Diagrams and we used them to compare and contrast different modes of transportation. In Math we continued to practice our addition concepts. They are really catching on so quickly to do this, it's great!
Important Notice: Grade 1 students had their Computer exam in Mr.Yanna's class before lunch today. Students who did not do as well as expected will be sent home with their exams tonight to do corrections. Mr. Yanna would like them to use a colored pencil to do corrections and also stresses that these are to be done solely by the students without any help from parents. Please return them tomorrow so that he can upgrade their marks. Thank you!
