In Reading and Phonics class we made a chart on the board to classify statements and questions. The class was split into small groups and shown a picture of a packed car full of passengers. As a group, they had to come up with a statement and a question about this specific photo. Later, each group had the chance to present their sentences to the class and we put them into the appropriate group on the chart. Everyone did a good job!

In Language and Spelling I introduced students to pronouns. We learned that pronouns are words that we use instead of a noun in a sentence. Nouns are people, places, and things. The pronouns we practiced replacing nouns with were:
